International Museum Day Revealing the pianola roll Tango Azul ,by César.A. Ciociano: the piece of the month
The Sound World Collection joins the international celebration of Museums Day under the slogan “Museums for education and research” by revealing the documentary sources that it preserves in its archives of an original copy of the pianola roll Tango Azul by the Italian composer César Augusto Ciociano. Thanks to the investigation advanced by Humberto Galindo, on the life and work of this musician it was possible the recovery of this interesting musical piece, whose support is a pianola roll recorded in Peru around 1930. and distributed in Lima by the store of distribution of vitrolas, discs, rolls and piano music “El Fonógrafo” of M.A. Ponce
