International Museum Day: New Donations for Sound World and Acknowledgements

On the occasion of the celebration of the International Museum Day on May 18, Mundo Sonoro will open its collection on a special day, to celebrate with the public the receipt of new donations to its collection, first of all a select collection of nibs of musicians of the Spanish master Manolo Montalban and a selection of old acetate discs among which are incunabula works of musicians from Tolima as Oscar Buenaventura. This donation was given by the art gallery owner Elvira Leonor Álvarez. Likewise, an acknowledgement was made for the kind donation by the young engineer Mario Alejandro Rincón, of a luthier's drum from Tolima, which enters the regional instruments room of the collection. Mundo Sonoro thanks the community for their permanent contribution to our museum project.
