ABOUT US

The Mundo Sonoro Collection is a museum specialized in musical instruments from Colombia and the world, led by the ONG Cantatierra in the city of Ibagué, Colombia. Mundo Sonoro collects, preserves, exhibits and disseminates ethnographic and historical musical organological heritage, represented in about 250 musical instruments from different cultures. Since its creation in 199X, it has exhibited this collection in cultural and educational centers of the city. It is a member of the Departmental Museum Network of Tolima and the Colombian Museum Information System SIMCO
