Mission
The collection Mundo Sonoro - musical instruments of Colombia and the world, is a museum, educational and research project, led by the ONG Cantatierra for the conservation, dissemination of memory and musical heritage of the peoples, aimed at broad and diverse audiences as a significant space for the enjoyment, knowledge and appreciation of ethnographic and historical expressions of musical instruments that empower the heritage of the peoples.
VISION
In the next five years, the Mundo Sonoro collection will be a leading national and international museum entity, specialized in the heritage of musical instruments, recognized for the representativeness of its collection and its impact on educational, artistic and technological programs for the visibilization of the musical instrumental legacy of the people.
