CONSERVATION

Mundo Sonoro Collection embraces international ICOM regulations, and respects its policies of conservation that guaranty the protocol of management, environmental control and preventive conservation of each of its collection pieces. For this the entity has an entire team of luthiers and staff. World Sonora is certified by the Ministry of Culture and the National Program of National Strengthening of Museums of the National Museum and is also a member of the Net Departmental Museums of Tolima.
DIVULGATION

Mundo Sonoro promotes group visits to its main office and offers its expositions in an itinerant manner through conventions and direct applications, through artistic experiences such as concerts, radio programs, conferences, and workshops for interpretation, construction of instruments, concerts, and conferences.
The Sound World Collection develops radio programs, concerts, conferences and workshops on the musical cultures of Colombia and the world, in relation to the interpretation and construction of ethnic musical instruments.
DONATIONS

Mundo Sonoro is a collection open to the public for cultural purposes. Thus, it is the policy of the museum to receive donated instruments of ethnographic or historical interest, as long as they are pertinent to the themes of the Collection. Mundo Sonoro acknowledges and thanks the countless friends and collaborators who have donated instruments to the Collection over the years.
